Requesting prayer for my mother, Ruth. She is 84-years old and has macular degeneration in both eyes - she is legally blind. Additionally, she suffers from several age-related ailments. We took her to the hospital tonight as she is physically distressed from not eating properly and not drinking fluids as she needs to be. When we took her to the hospital she was dehydrated and had not had a bowel movement for several days.

She lives on her own in an apartment complex for seniors. She wants to maintain her independence but is struggling to do so. She is very stubborn and is not honest with her primary care physician.

So I guess I need prayer, also, as to how best deal with this situation, as she refuses to transition into an assisted living facility. I am at my wits end and need divine intervention to get her the care she needs. Thank you for your prayers.

Father God, I pray that Lynn is at rest with you and I thank you for allowing me to help her during her last days. I lift up her friends and family, as they morn her passing.

I also lift up Eva Mae, as she struggles to regain her health and struggles through her dementia. Please comfort her and her family with your holy presence.

Thank you, Father God, for all your blessings and for the wonder of your love. You are the great provider. Amen

Please pray for my son, Dan. He is in his mid-thirties and is having difficulty dealing with life on life's terms. To the best of my knowledge he has not accepted Christ. I pray for his protection and that our Lord would soften Dan's heart. Thank you.

Lois Profit is doing better now and is in recovery. Rather than a stroke as first suspected, it was discovered that she had an infection. She is now recuperating in a care facility. Thank you for your continued prayers for Lois and her family.

Dear Friends - as many of you know, our sister in Christ, LOIS PROFIT, has suffered a stroke. Presently she is in Swedish Hospital. In talking to Wes this morning, he said that she is restless, confused and somewhat aggressive. At this point, she is unable to communicate and last night did not recognize Mary.

Wes and Mary are on their way to Florida to their son's wedding. If there is any change in her condition, there are family members who will be available.

Please pray for the Profit and Sthole families. These past weeks have extremely difficult for Pastor and Mary. Please pray that God would give them peace in the midst of turmoil and that His grace would be showed on them.

2 Cor. 1:3-4 "Praise be to the God of all comfort, who comforts us, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."

Dear Lord, please be with the survivors of R.D. Spedding as they mourn their loss. Please give them comfort and surround them with your love. I pray they might draw near to you, Lord, as they seek solace in their time of distress. Amen

Heavenly Father, we thank you for this opportunity to come here and lift up to you the needs and concerns of your children, and to seek prayer from our brothers and sisters in Christ for those that do not yet know you and your love for them. It is our hope and our prayer that this might be a place where both the broken-hearted and the grateful may come before you to honor you and glorify your name, the name that is above all names. Now and forever more. Amen.
